People have some trouble accepting success when it comes to their lives.
The reaction to success doesn’t have to be positive.
Example: we received the opportunity to be promoted.
Reaction: we started deprecating our skills by talking to ourselves: o, really, I do not deserve it, I know Mr Smith is more educated, skilled, experienced in order to get the promotion and etc…
For some people, #success s identified with being able to do better than their parents in his/her childhood and on an unconscious level they are not able to accept it. (Manfred Kets de Vriesa)
In #systemiccoaching we can test our relation to the success.
Success means “more”: more activities, more knowledge, more time, more contacts, more money. If your #identity is” I am someone who has little”, because having a little is safe – as the family has/or has had a little too, then will be harder to accept success.
