Behind every B2B are people. We develop ourselves and our businesses by building powerful relationships. A good relationship with ourselves (self-awareness) is crucial in developing powerful relationships with our team and customers.
I have worked in business improvement for more than 20 years. I have worked as a Country Manager, Deputy of MD and Board Member. I have lived in 3 countries. I speak fluent English, Polish and Russian.
I co-founded 2 successful businesses (accounting practice in Poland, Head Hunting in Russia). I learn and develop constantly.
How I got into coaching
I remember watching an interview with a head-hunter and a coach on some morning television show when I was about 15 years old. I felt that this was what I wanted to do. It was the voice of my inner being, but then, my ego drowned out this voice.
As an adult, I focused on making a career and making money. I was motivated by the desire to help my family and to be the so-called "someone". I thought that the title and money were a recipe for being happy. Professionally, I hit the glass ceiling, I was a workaholic and finally burned myself out. My private life was not a success.
In 2013 I had an accident, which made me stop myself from doing what I was doing. I went back to my homeland. I had to learn to ask for help and then I had to learn to accept it. During this time, I became interested in personal development. After these 3 months of getting to know myself again, I returned to Moscow, where I lived at that time. I started to transform myself step by step in order to live as I wanted. The most difficult thing was to give up my job and resign from a secure monthly income. I had to take a break to start again. It was the moment I felt I took full responsibility for myself for the very first time.
Later on, I got a dream job.
As a leader, I worked with an executive coach. That was the first time I felt the power of coaching for myself. It helped me to grow and bring my leadership style to the next level and as a result, it positively influenced the company's financial success as well.
After going through a transformation myself and bringing awareness and positive change into all areas of my life, I realized that my interests lie in personal development and individual work with people. It is my calling to help people find themselves and achieve their goals, inspire them and bring a new direction to their businesses and life.
My profession has taught me to be a good leader and use coaching techniques to understand people more. As a leader, most of the time you need to listen to people and hear them. Coaching will help you with that.
